I opened chainle.io on October 23, 2026 and played puzzle 65 through to the end. Medal and post closed on pin, wireless and frame on camera, counter and sequence on array, the three-word round on analyst, and monitor on surveillance. The result page read 5,000 of 5,000 and “Every link held.” Badge, tried on a fresh session, scored 732 because it hugged medal and barely touched post.
What is Chainle.io?
Chainle is a free daily word-association game at chainle.io. Each puzzle has five rounds: three two-word bridges, one three-word bridge, and one closest-connection round. You type one word that links the clues. The game scores how close that word is in meaning to every clue at once, up to 1,000 points a round and 5,000 a day.
A new puzzle arrives at midnight Eastern Time. There is no account and no separate app. Progress stays in the browser. The archive goes back to August 20, 2026, which is puzzle 1. The latest is puzzle 75, on November 2, 2026. The homepage example “pizza and pasta are linked by tomato” is a teaching pair, not the live puzzle.
Five rounds, three ways to connect
Rounds 1 to 3 show two clues and ask for the word in the middle. Round 4 shows three clues. Round 5 shows one clue and asks for the closest connection. You get one guess each round. A word that fits only one clue scores almost nothing, which is why badge lost to pin on puzzle 65.
- It is not Wordle. You are not guessing a hidden five-letter spelling.
- It is not a word ladder. You do not change one letter at a time.
- It does not ask you to log in or install anything.
Where to go next
Today’s clues and the published strongest links are on the answers page, behind a reveal button. The archive lists every puzzle since August 20. Unlimited mode is a button on chainle.io, not a separate address. Scoring explains the eight-link chain without inventing a formula the FAQ does not publish.
