Games Like Chainle
After puzzle 65 I wanted another board that still asked for meaning, not a ladder that only changes a letter. Krillion was the closest mood and a completely different timer. Chain It and CHN LNK ask for phrase links, which felt like cousins rather than the same 300-number space. I keep the letter-step games in a second list so I do not send someone to a ladder when they asked for Chainle.
Meaning and phrase games
Krillion (krillion.io) gives seven prompts and 25 seconds each. Rarer answers score deeper. It links to Chainle from its homepage. It has accounts; Chainle does not.
Chain It, by Puzzlit, builds a daily chain of compound words, phrases, or associations and shows you the first letter. Hints reveal letters and cost points. There is no account on the web game.
CHN LNK on dles.gg hides a chain where each word forms a phrase with the next. You get five lives, optional one-minute timing, and stars from the lives you keep. No account.
Wordgy hides five missing words. Each one has to form a phrase or compound with the next. Flip is free; the 1 Letter and Length assists cost a point. I have not rechecked the reset clock, so I am not stating one.
Letter-step games, which are not Chainle
Word Chain on puzzled.com is a four-letter ladder: change one letter a step, a fixed number of steps, reset at midnight Eastern. Puzzle 117 was the number on the page when it was checked October 23, 2026. An account is optional.
Poople is a four-letter ladder that ends at POOP, with a par score, a daily puzzle, and unlimited play. The FAQ puts the reset at 08:00 UTC. No account.
daily.zalize.com/chainle is a ladder too: change, add, or remove one letter. On October 23, 2026 it was on puzzle 86 and the interface was in Chinese. Same name, different game. If that is what you wanted, it is not the five-round board at chainle.io.

chainle.io does not link an app. The games above are separate sites with their own puzzles.
Which one uses the same clues as Chainle?
None of them. Only chainle.io publishes that day’s five rounds.
