Which Chainle?
I typed the answers for puzzle 65 on chainle.io and then opened the other domains with the same name. The clues did not match. chainle.org and chainle.net were five-round boards on a UTC midnight clock. chainle.online was scoring phrases, not the 1,000-point semantic chain. daily.zalize.com/chainle asked me to change a letter. I only trust a Chainle answer key against chainle.io.
The game at chainle.io
chainle.io is the site with the FAQ, the Eastern Time midnight reset, the archive back to August 20, 2026, and no login. WHOIS creation date: 2026-09-18. Registrar: Name.com. The registrant organization is a privacy service, so the record does not name a person. The puzzle existed in the archive before that registration date. I do not turn the earlier archive date into a launch announcement.

Two modes showed up in a reader fetch: a phrase chain at /daily (last letter of one word starts the next), and a five-round semantic board on the homepage. Direct browser requests returned 403 that day, so I am not describing the default button from a live click.
- daily.zalize.com/chainle — zalize.com created 2026-07-06. A letter ladder: change, add, or remove one letter. Puzzle 86 on October 23, 2026. Different rules.
Directories that point somewhere else
dailydle.org/games/chainle titled the game a word ladder and sent “Official Site” to puzzle.zalize.com. dlehunt.com/game/chainle wrote “official site — chainle.net.” alldle.net/game/chainle says the game “runs on chainle.net” and does not use the word official. I played the October 23 puzzle on chainle.io, and these three descriptions do not match that board.
Is Chainle free? Who runs chainle.io?
The game at chainle.io is free in the browser, with no account. That is the FAQ, rechecked October 23, 2026. The site has no about page and no public contact. WHOIS is privacy-shielded. Krillion’s homepage says the game was “made by my little brother.” Chainle does not confirm a name. I do not add a company or a country.
